Concept Art of Alien Ship

 As my story is about alien invasion, then of course, I would need an alien. Since I have everything all planned, I decided to design my own alien. yay! :D Before I started to model my alien, I went to research on all the different kind of aliens. At the same time, to look at their texture so as to decide what kind of shaders that I will need.

 

And so, here is the design of my alien ship!  While I was modelling halfway, I did the previs for the story too.

Storyline - Uninvited

 I got influence by Transformers and battleship and so, I've decided to do a story on alien invasion. After deciding on much places, I've decided to use Marina Bay Sands as the background. The name of my story is, "Uninvited" and the shot sheet below will go into details about how the story goes.

Next up will be about the design of the alien ship!

Start of production

I shall start off this post with my production schedule. After trying to maximise the amount of time, I could only get 4 months to complete the whole project. The schedule is really tight considering the fact that I have to tap into something that I've not done before. And so, I have to spend time to learn about particles, dynamic stuffs, and new techniques that I require to get my idea out. Hmm, that's all for this post. Will be discussing about the storyline of my project in the next post. So, stay tuned!
